Connected Solutions at RAC brought roadside assistance into the 21st Century. A business that has been reactive to customer vehicle breakdowns for 120 years became a pro-active and predictive business.
Working closely with the Microsoft Azure team, Connected Solutions created and implemented change.
Part of the solution included the need for greater depths of data from vehicle electronic systems than was possible with standard telematics.
To address this need, RAC acquired a majority share of Nebula Systems, a cloud-based connected car diagnostics company.
